What changed?
Public reports based on the MEA fee revision say passport and related document service charges increased from 1 July 2026. Reported examples include a fresh or reissued ordinary 36-page adult passport rising from Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 2,500, and Tatkaal service charges rising to Rs. 5,000.
Who is affected?

- Confirm whether you need 36 pages or 60 pages.
